PURPOSE

The ‘’University of Patras Property Utilization & Management Company’’ is a limited liability company established under Presidential Decree No 32/1993, as amended by Presidential Decree No 261/2000.

According to Article 3(1) of Presidential Decree No 32/1993, the purpose of the Company is the utilization and management of the property of the University of Patras, as designated in Article 3(7) of Law 1268/1982. Property means both movable and immovable assets which come into the Company’s possession from any source, except those used by the University for administrative and academic purposes and for which the Company may only provide logistics and maintenance services against payment.

The General Assembly constitutes the supreme body of the legal entity of the Company, and its responsibilities are exercised by the Senate of the University of Patras at meetings held specifically for this purpose. The meetings of the General Assembly are presided by the Chair of the Administrative Board or by his/her Deputy if he/she is prevented from attending.
